%X This research project aims to analyze the awareness and usage of the student-centered approach at a bilingual high school of Honduras. It first, focuses in a deep revision of the textbook used by the ELA professor. Then, it directs its attention to determine the awareness and accountability of the students towards their own learning. Proceeding by the put into action a professional development for the teachers of this institution. Finalizing by contrasting the results of the students´ performance after being exposed to a classroom using student-centered techniques.
